All third-party service providers that process personal data on our behalf are bound by written contracts that limit their use of your data to the purposes specified by Energy Ogre, require them to implement appropriate security measures, and obligate them to delete or return your data at the conclusion of the service relationship.

We may disclose your sensitive data to third-party energy service providers as necessary to complete your enrollment in energy services. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, mental or physical health diagnoses, sexuality, citizenship, or immigration status.
Data Retention
Users accessing their online account via web or app can request a cancellation of service easily by clicking on 'Contact us' > 'Cancellation of service'. Once the service is canceled, all data related to the account including login information will be deleted within 30 days. This applies to all users who utilize social logins such as FB, Google, Apple as well as for those who have registered an online account with a unique username and password.
During your active membership, Energy Ogre retains your personal data, including sensitive data, for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested and to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. We may also retain your data for such additional periods as are necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We apply the principle of data minimization and do not retain personal data longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Your Rights Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act
If you are a Texas resident, you have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) with respect to your personal data.

Energy Ogre takes reasonable measures to ensure that de-identified data cannot be associated with an individual and publicly commits not to attempt to re-identify such data, except as necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of our de-identification processes.
Legal Obligations
